Non-Musical history for today: 1963 – The Pro Football Hall of Fame opens in Canton, Ohio, with 17 charter members. I met an inductee from 1970, Pete Pihos. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles from 1947-1955. His college playing time at Indiana was interrupted as he was in the Army during WWII.
