Beeswax Vinyl Daily October 13, 2023

Non-musical history for today: 1269 – The present church building at Westminster Abbey was consecrated. I stood in that building. It was a sight to behold, for sure. The Poets’ Corner is especially remarkable. John Dryden, Alfred, Lord Tennyson, Charles Dickens, Geoffrey Chaucer, and Rudyard Kipling are buried there. Memorials to Shakespeare and Milton are there, too, even though they are buried elsewhere. Even for a non-religious heathen like me, it was fascinating.

Music history, album anniversaries, birthdays, and deaths for October 13.

Recorded in the Omniverus Podcast Studios at Liberty Plaza.
