Beeswax Vinyl Daily May 24, 2024

Non-musical history for today: 1883 – The Brooklyn Bridge in New York City was opened to traffic after 14 years of construction. We have seen it in television shows (think Night Court) forever and got to go under it on the ferry while in NYC. Also, we are fans of the show The Gilded Age, and part of the storyline (albeit minor) was about the opening of the bridge.

Music history, album anniversaries, birthdays, and deaths for May 24.

Recorded in the Omniverus Podcast Studios at Liberty Plaza.
