Non-Musical history for today: 1536 – Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn’s marriage is annulled. She was wife #2. She couldn’t bare a son for him (not one that lived, anyway), and Hank started consorting with Jane Seymour. Anne was convicted of adultery and other crimes and was beheaded two days after the annulment. Ouch!
Music history, album anniversaries, birthdays, and deaths for May 17.
