Non-Musical history for today: 1945 – On their honeymoon in the same lovely bunker in which they were married the day before, Adolf Hitler shot himself in the head to avoid capture and his bride, Eva Braun, had a snack of cyanide. Their bodies were removed from the bunker and burned. Couldn’t have happened to a more deserving couple.
