Beeswax Vinyl Daily April 24, 2024

Non-musical history for today: 1913—The Woolworth Building, a skyscraper in New York City, was opened. It is still open and is now an apartment building. It was the tallest building in the world from 1913 until 1930. And now, 111 years later, it’s still one of the top 100 tallest buildings in the US. I love stuff like that. I love skyscrapers, especially historical ones.

Music history, album anniversaries, birthdays, and deaths for April 24.

Recorded in the Omniverus Podcast Studios at Liberty Plaza.
